How to upgrade to bluray?
I'm looking to upgrade to blu ray on my laptop, but still want to retain the ability to watch/burn/rip dvds and cds.
I'm running a M1730 from dell with a 1900x1200 screen so i'm thinking it will look nice. Problem is, i don't really know where to begin? What should i be looking for getting, whats the price range, and is it easy to swap out the drives? Thanks |

Re: How to upgrade to bluray?
Thanks for the video, it looks almost too easy.
Can anyone recommend a blu ray drive to buy for this computer. What kind of connector/size am i looking for when going to find one? Thanks |

Re: How to upgrade to bluray?
I upgraded my laptop with this drive: 2X BD-R/RE slim Blu-Ray Burner Panasonic UJ-220 PATA/IDE Laptop Drive. I love it! Install was not too difficult :)
I found some great Blu Ray software sites and a few discount resellers of first run discs. I could never go back to standard def picture quality now. |
