Laptop Video Problems

Hello! my computer has been having issues for almost a month now and I have been trying hard to fix it myself but i've had no luck.

My computer is having problems with its video. The colors are completely off - White is Purple, black is green and some colors have horizontal lines running through them and others have white dots that pop in an out. However, when i plug in an external monitor, the screen looks perfectly fine.

I was told that the LCD scree was bad, so I replaced it and it didn't fix the problem and there was no difference at all. I also replaced the cable from the motherboard to the inverter.

Sometimes if i'm lucky, I can get the screen to go back to normal by playing a video game and sometimes when I change the desktop background it will go back to normal. It never stays normal for long though, only about 5 to 10 minutes.

I'm currently completely out of ideas on what the problem could be. Any help is appreciated!

Re: Laptop Video Problems

the only other thing i could suggest is the inverter or a bad connection,if the monitor does not show any problem

Re: Laptop Video Problems

I was under the impression that an inverter problem was similar to a backlight problem. I can see my screen just fine on my laptop, there is no problem there.
