Hi all, il try and set the scene as best i can because this has been driving me nuts! About a month ago I bought an Acer Aspire 7535G and was given the discounted windows 7 upgrade. I followed the upgrade to the letter yet I have an issue that i cannot for the life of me fix!
My laptop has both the onboard ATI HD 3200 and dedicated HD 4570. Prior to the upgrade, the 4570 was the primary adapter and the ATIpowerXpress was set up to switch to the less demanding gpu whenever the laptop was running from battery. since upgrading to windows 7, it now is under the impression that there are 2 displays and will not let me select my "high power" GPU. It has extended the displays (despite only having the laptop monitor) and regards the 32000 as primary. It recognises the fact that i have both GPUs but I cannot work out how to set it up to have only one display and just switch between the display adapters using the powerxpress. I can turn off the Extended displays (only by disabling projector in mobility settings), have reinstalled both drivers from both ATI and Acers websites yet nothing seems to work. If anyone has any ideas i would love to hear them because i'm fresh out!

Re: ATI issues
Try installing this here. You may need to remove the previous version. Let us know if it makes a difference. By the way this is a 64 bit driver. Are running 64 bit Windows 7.
