OS: Windows 7
|
I have a dell studio 1537 laptop that I have just upgraded from vista home premium to windows 7 professional. I got the new OS free from the univeristy I am at so why wouldn't I? The installation and everything went fine but now after 30mins or so of using it I start to get random fuzzy areas on my screen. I can be using word, IE or browsing folders and it will happen. its different everytime but I can close the window and reopen and it will be ok again but the problem will return.
I first tried to download the latest driver software for my video card becuase I thought it must be that as it was a new problem after the win7 upgrade. This did not fix the problem so I contacted dell. They promptly replaced my LCD screen and motherboard (video card included) and still I am getting the fuzzy areas. What should I do next??? My video card is Intel 4 Series Express Chipset... |

Re: Fuzzy areas on screen sometimes after Win7 upgrade
Hi Mattnz303—
Maybe you could try uninstalling the driver, then reinstalling in Compatiblity Mode for Vista. There is a procedure for this here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...4-a1ab826059b7 Best Wishes GeoffV Windows 7 Client Team |
