Dell XPS M2010 Resource Thread (Discontinued by Dell)
Hello,
I am one of the lucky few that purchased the M2010 as a desktop replacement. Let's just say my experience with it has been far less than what I imagined it would be. That being said, Dell has discontinued the sale of the XPS M2010. I am sure there will be a growing number of people not wanting to give up the 20.1" monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse or the cool remote that comes with it. This PC is the ultimate sit comfortable and still function PC I have come across. However, form seems to have out done function. I would like for those of us afflicted with the "XPS M2010 continued use Nuerosis" to have a place to find tweaks, fixes for our "it looks cool, runs hot and doesn't really do much a lot of the time" Laptop. So please post your information resources, tips and tweaks. This is not intended to be for posting problems or what if's but a place to find information on using, updating, tweaking and repairing the Dell XPS M2010 Laptop. ![]() The First Resource is Dell's Support site for the XPS M2010 Dell Support XPS M2010 If the link doesn't work then visit http://support.dell.com On this page you can get drivers, support and other information. For Drivers and Downloads click that topic... If you have your Service Tag you can use it here. If not, under choose model you can get there clicking on menu choices. Click Select Model > Laptop > XPS Laptop > M2010 > Confirm (not that you may have to click some of the links twice to take you to the next menu) From here you select your Operating System and it gives you the drivers they have for your XPS M2010. This is all I have for the moment, but I do hope that other owners or tech's that are familiar with this XPS M2010 will share their knowledge on how they are able to make different Software and Hardware work with this Laptop.
