Toshiba Trouble
The HD died on my laptop the other day. I installed a new one and tried to do a full recovery from the disks that came with the laptop. No luck.
When I try to use the recovery wizard I get error code 03-EEEE-0000. I called Toshiba's tech support and talked to 2 different techs who both say its an issue with my new HD. I can boot off the recovery disks, access the HD, and copy files to it. I can even install Linux on it without a hitch. It seems to me that the problem is with the disks that came with my laptop. Has anyone been able to do a full system recovery from the disks supplied by Toshiba or are they just sending out a set of coasters with their laptops? |
