Re: Toshiba PSAA9E-OFKO1EEN

Hello!

This is usually caused by a cable either being “broken”, pinched, or loose. Most of the time the culprit area is somewhere near the hinges, but may be anywhere along the cable route.

Just as a precaution it would be wise to test VGA card by connecting an external monitor to the laptop and switching the display to the external only. Then move the screen to see if the same thing happens to the external monitor. I highly doubt it will, but it is best to test this if possible.

Tackling this problem won’t be easy unless you have disassembled laptops before. Unfortunately, you will end up having to disassemble about 85% of your laptop to get to the problem.

Here is a link that will provide more links to disassembling Toshiba laptops. Please have a look at some of the links to give you an idea what you may or may not decide to do.

If you have never disassembled a laptop before, I would recommend contacting a local computer shop for assistance.

Thanks!
