Keyboard characters incorrect
Hi! I just bought a Dell XPS laptop three weeks back from Dubai. There seems to be two problems with my keyboard...
1. Pressing Shift+2 gives me " and pressing Shift+' gives me @. The shift functions seem to be reversed with the two keys... 2. Shift+3 does not give me the hash sign, it gives me a £. Can you please tell me what's wrong and how i can fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated! |

Re: Keyboard characters incorrect
Try reinstalling the driver for the keyboard.
Start->Right Click Computer->Properties->Device Manager->Find Keyboards->Click on Keyboards->Right Click on your keyboard in the list->Go to Properties->Click Uninstal Driver->Restart->Log in and let PnP run to find the device. Or just update the driver. Or it might be because you bought it in mumbai? lol jk |
