Beep sound occurs when i start my Laptop
Hi,
I have a Sony VAIO VGN-FS315E series Laptop. When i start my laptop, beep sound continuously occurs until any key from the keyboard is pressed multiple times. Then when i login to windows and open windows explorer and click on Address bar and select any drive, letter g appears automatically in the address bar like 'C:\gggggggggggggg' until i press backspace or delete button. Also key g is not working after this problem. Can any one please guide me in this regard? As i'm typing right now, i'm using the on-screen keyboard utility to type the g's. Thank you in advance. |

Re: Beep sound occurs when i start my Laptop
Sounds like your g key is suck in the depressed state. Does it look as if its in the depressed position. If it does try gently pulling on it with a pearl picker or another suitable tool. You may need to have the keyboard replaced if this does not solve the problem.
A new keyboard can cost from £40. paying to have it done should cost about £75 at a repair shop. |
