Question Name This Laptop

Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong board!

My cousin used to work for some sort of company, and I got my very first laptop through him. (I got another one through him later, an Acer which I posted on here about cause it had many stupid problems :D) So I assumed this was an Acer as well.

I wanted to perhaps buy a spare so I could try and swap the hard drives or something so i could get into my old files. It had a rather strange and mysterious death that stretched on for a few weeks. Basically it would just sometimes not turn on, youd hit the button, the lights would turn on, the fan would run for a few seconds and then nothing. There'd be no sound coming from inside whatsoever. sometimes id wait a few hours and try again and it'd start up fine, till finally it just didn't. (it to this day still does the same thing, and that was roughly 3 years ago).

I cant say I recall if i brought the question here or not (it may have been determined it was the motherboard battery or something strange?) None the less, I have no clue as to what kind of computer it even is, and still have the hopes of perhaps one day reviving it. I found the original notebook guide cd that came with it, but oddly enough the pictures of the notebook on the cd, while are the very same as the one i have, lack the 'Nspire' logo on the top.

Any idea what It could be?

A picture with it open, note the lights, that's all it does after you hit the power button :D

Re: Name This Laptop

The brand is normally listed on the black sticker on the bottom. or they at least normally have a model number, take a look at that, or post a picture of just that if you want us to look at it.
