hp light source
Just courious, but has anybody had trouble with an hp entertainment laptop, where the light source for the lcd stops working. Mine stopped working 1 month after warranty expired. you could wiggle the screen back and forth and get it to work, mostly opened almost flat. Anyway I've seen2 do this. I have found that behind the trim around the screen there is a small circuit board that loses connection. have to take mine apart every 5-6 months. anyway just wandering if anyone else had this problem

Re: hp light source
There are a couple toshiba models that do that same thing, the LCD cable is tight and the connector to the inverter gets pulled out. Only thing to do is see if there is a little bit extra slack in the base of the laptop and if there is try and pull some up into the LCD part or replace the LCD cable.
