HP DV2000 problem:wont boot up!
I just bought a HP dv2419us (dv2000 model) from ebay. this was in really nice condition and the price was just right for a fully functioning laptop. it came with Vista, which i couldn't even make it two hours without getting frustrated. so i installed windows 7. i went to work , and let it install completely. i came home at lunch to a......"screen that looks like you installed a dusty Nintendo game cartridge, and it cant get the image on the tv right" so i restarted the laptop. now it wont even boot up. it starts up all the lights light up (function, power and info keys) but the screen is black and unlit. the caps/scroll lock lights do not illuminate when pressed. the wireless and touch pad on/off toggle lights are non responsive. even the led for the power adapter light up when its plugged in. i dont know what to do. is my laptop Dead after 2 hours of use? is anyone familiar with these laptops, or and/or any problems it has? im willing to take it apart...some, to fix what ever happened, but not really willing to put any $ int it it the same day i received it. thanks, hope you can help.
