Acer Aspire 5670 boot problem

lappy wont boot completely. boots up to the blue aspire screen and then just stays there...wont move forward to the log in screen at all. tried taking out the battery, letting it die, bios settings, ect. I am not very computer savy so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does it say anything on the blue screen (any errors perhaps)?

nope, not that kind of blue screen..luckily I havent gotten that one. i was just referring to the regular acer blue boot up screen.

try removing the hard drive and dvd drive and see if it goes past the Acer screen and it will probably try to do a PXE network boot.
