Activation of Bluetooth for Inspiron 9300

How do you activate the Bluetooth Radio on an Inspiron 9300? The manual says to press Fn and F2 at the same time. This, however, did not activate the Bluetooth light on the upper console.

Hi and welcome!

Fn+F2 enables all wireless devices on this particular system. However, please note that not all Dell Inspiron 9300's have the Bluetooth wireless installed. It is an "optional" component. I.e. all 9300's have the Bluetooth symbol, but some do not have the card installed.

Are you absolutely sure you have the Bluetooth option installed?

You can verify this by going to Dell's website and entering your service tag off of the system:

Please verify that the option is installed and post back your findings.
