How to Remove Built-In Fingerprint Program?

My Acer Aspire 8930 came with a fingerprint program built-in so that when I start my computer, a box in the upper right hand corner appears on the welcome screen where I can scan my fingerprint and it logs me on. But with Windows 7's addition of fingerprint scanning to log on, these two running at once causes problems for me. Is there any way to remove this program or stop it from starting on the Welcome Screen? Thanks.

Hi try disabling it in device manager

That would disable the fingerprint reader. I still want to use it, but just the Windows 7 interface where it's an option to log on. Not the Acer one that always starts up with the computer.

Well the thing is, this isn't a program starting up when I log on. It loads right when I turn on my computer, right at the logon/Welcome screen, so msconfig won't do anything.

Hi try looking in the bios and see if you can find a way to disble it there,check the acer bio protection help files
