Power Chord/ Adapter

So anyway I have a dell inspiron 1545 and the chord going from my adapter into my laptop has gone to crap. As my battery has died a while ago this means that most small movements turns off my laptop.

So I'm assuming I need to get a new adapter. I was just wondering if anyone can tell me what the cheapest one that will work for my laptop will be. Links would be very welcome. Length does not matter.

Thanks.

Re: Power Chord/ Adapter

HI,
Have you done a google search for a Dell 1545 ac adapter?
Most are under $30.00.
It is hard for us to determine the lowest price, as I do not know your location.

Re: Power Chord/ Adapter

Im in southern California if that helps. I don't think our office max would have it though.

Re: Power Chord/ Adapter

Hi,
I do not see an AC adapter on the Office Max website for Dells
You maybe better off getting one On-Line. Most retail shops will markup the price considerably. The other option is a local computer shop, but expect to pay a little more.
