Acer Aspire 8930 shutsdown while playing games...

It's quite annoying. Whenever I play a game that has any kind of real graphics, my laptop will, in the middle of playing, shut down. It happens usually around 5-10 minutes in to the game, and it is really annoying. For example, the game Aion will crash in the middle of character creation.

I don't have this kind of problem when I'm doing anything else on my laptop. Whether that be browsing the web, playing flash games, or watching DVD's.

Here are my system specs.

Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 (6001.vistasp1_gdr.090805-0102)
Language: English (Regional Setting: English)
System Manufacturer: Acer
System Model: Aspire 8930
BIOS: InsydeH2O Version V1.05
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5800 @ 2.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
Memory: 4092MB RAM
Page File: 2619MB used, 5739MB available
Windows Dir: C:\Windows
DirectX Version: DirectX 10

Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT
Manufacturer: NVIDIA
Chip type: GeForce 9600M GT
DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0649&SUBSYS_01451025&REV_A1
Display Memory: 2288 MB
Dedicated Memory: 497 MB
Shared Memory: 1790 MB
Current Mode: 1680 x 945 (32 bit) (60Hz)

Hopefully this is something I can fix this side, if not, than that isn't horrible, as I need to send my computer out to fix the left speaker regardless.
