Re: ACER Aspire 9300 HELP!
Using a flash light at 45 degrees to the screen can you see your desktop or anything? If not, sounds like the screen ribbon cable has stretched and may have pulled out the connection at the LCD screen side at worst the ribbon cable is damaged. Not an expensive fix, shop about the net for new cable. Also recheck the inverter connections, cause it's cable will have had a stretch also.
On rare occasions a new inverter can cause the older LCD backlight tube to fail. If you can see your desktop using the above method and the ribbon cable and inverter connections are ok then a new backlight tube will be needed. You can change a backlight tube yourself with a little care.
