No sound or wireless controle

reinstalled windows on my latop but i dont have any controle over sound or my wireless connection (i can't turn it on) it's a dell latitude D610 and i used a windows disk i found on the net as i thought all windows would have the same stuff built in hmm what can i do?

should add it's windows xp home

also the specific buttons for volume and wirless conection and the Fn laptop keys don't work any clue?

as you can tell im not 100% sure with stuff like this

Added: windows media players said when i put a CD into try no sound device installed?

Ok, there are additional programs and software to make those extras work. You would need to go to dell's website, lookup the system tag for your laptop, and then download the software and drivers to make everything work properly again.

Or order the recovery discs from dell.
