Password bypass

[b][color="Magenta"] [color="Magenta"] Please somebody help me!!! I have an Acer 5315 that was given to me by my family member (elderly) however he cannot remember the password..ugh I have tried to find the internal battery and remove it for 10 minutes, no good cant find it.
Please help me

I've just read another forum thread where they say the CMOS battery for the Acer 5315 is soldered onto the motherboard, so to remove it you have to send the computer back to Acer and pay $100. If that's true, it's very unusual.
