Questions about a blue screening laptop
Recently, my ASUS F3 Series F3Jm-AP012P NoteBook had blue screened and was unable to boot any further beyond the Windows Xp loading screen. I'll get the typical ASUS screen, then promted to choose Normal log in, Safe mode, and any mode I chose I either get a long win32/text.text spam from Safe Mode promts or get to the Win XP loading screen before another BSoD.
Am i right to think that if I'm at least getting that that I may be able to recover or reformat the laptop? Or maybe a ram issue? |

Re: Questions about a blue screening laptop
This post needed a BUMP!
Try this first. 1. Remove battery 2. Remove AC power 3. Remove and reseat your RAM modules. 4. Replace yor RAM modules 5. Hold down your power button for 1 minute 6. Replace your AC power (not battery) and turn on. This is called a hard reset. If it works COOL, then replace your battery. If not then remove the RAM and replace one stick at a time in each RAM slot. Please post back. Last edited by night_shift; 10-05-2009 at 02:18 PM. |

Re: Questions about a blue screening laptop
Nothing. Tried everything you said and still either go to a blue screen thats off faster then i can read it or get a large amount of data involving particions and then the blue screen.
