[SOLVED] Blue Screen

Hello everyone,

I have an Acer Aspire 3680-2682 Latop, 14.1 WXGA Crystalbrite LCD
Vista Basic windows

Problem: I replaced the LCD screen with a new one and also the inverter.
When I turn on laptop it jsut produces a blank screen, fan turns on and everything seems to be working but the screen stays blank.

Before I replaced the screen I hooked up an external monitor to it to make sure the windows was working properly and they appeared to be just fine,
also went into bios and everything looked good there too, no problems, I booted it twice and it was fine each time, then i replaced the LCD and the inverter, now it jsut produces a blank screen?

I tried these things here: Take out the battery, disconnect the power cord, held in the power button for a good minute then just connected up the power cord only, its a no go still a blank screen. Removed ram also but didnt think that would matter and it didnt.

Anyone have any ideas on this for me? I would appreciate it very much, TY

Re: Blue Screen

I'm kind of confused. Is it a "blue screen" (BSOD) or just no picture?
