Help Me Purchase The Right Laptop!

hello. i wanna purchase a new laptop but i can't seem to make up my mind on which brand and model to get. i'd use it mainly for personal entertainment: Gaming (Sims 2 or 3, Diablo II, Condition Zero, NBA, Red Alert); Internet; Movie viewing through DVD/VCD; Music. my preferences with regards to specs are: (1) 120GB HDD or more, (2) 2GB RAM, (3) DVD-RW Optical Drive, (4) Windows XP SP2 or SP3 OS (5) high graphics to accommodate my gaming needs, (6) light-weight. i don't know about other specs i have to consider. oh, and my budget is not more than PhP40K.

i researched about NEO on the net and it doesn't have many favorable reviews. MSI is also cheap but i'm worrying about quality. If i have the bucks i'd go to either VAIO or DELL but i can't find any brand new laptops of these brands that is within my budget.

thanks in advance!

Re: Help Me Purchase The Right Laptop!

If you are going to use it for gaming then I would go with the Alienware brand of laptops. They are expensive but you have to pay more to get a better graphics card. You could get Dell XPS 16 which has a lower end graphics card but it will play Sims 2 and Sims 3, but you may not be able to play high intensive games at high settings.
