Unknown FPS Spike/Drop + Buggy sound issue once every 5 minutes
Hello all,
didn't know how to explain myself more appropriately in the title. The laptop I own is an Acer 8930G 2.4 duo, geforce 9700m gt 4gb ddr3. i bought this laptop half a year or so ago. until recently everything regarding gaming performance has been fine. the sound drivers started bugging after 2 months or so after i updated nvidia drivers which come with their hd audio as well. i decided to format afterwards, after which everything was still fine performance wise. recently, out of the blue, when playing games (i play League of Legends and Heroes of Newerth atm) i get massive stuttering randomly, from perfect performance to almost unplayable for 30 odd seconds. so, i was wondering, does anyone know why this is occurring? i did another format c yesterday and it didnt help. its set on high performance when plugged in and on battery as i have a gaming mode. its always plugged in. i also tried taking battery out to see how it runs without. when i play i rarely have anything else running. i'm really desperate, because i spent a lot of money on this thing and its just making me sad... kindest regards, vadim zinkovski |
