Toshiba satelite laptop won't boot up
My son has a Satelite about (1 year old) not sure of the model number and when he goes to boot it up it comes up with a message saying his realtek rtl8100e\8101e fast ehternet network adaptor v1.02 pxee61 media test failure. check cable.
Problem is he isn't connected to the internet at the time. and it won't go beyond this message to boot up. Is it because the adaptor is bad and has stopped the bootup process? Can he override it and get it up? thanks |

Re: Toshiba satelite laptop won't boot up
You should go in the bios and check the boot up sequence. It looks like the network card has higher priority than the hard disk. If the hard disk has higher priority, then you need to check if the hard disk exists in the bios.
