CD/DVD Drive Error.

After booting up my laptop, i realized in my computer my CD/DVD drive wasnt showing up, so i checked the device manager and it had a yellow exclamation point by it. I tried to update the drivers for it but it said i already had the most recent ones, i tried uninstalling and rebooting but it only had the same thing upon reboot. The drive is called TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-L632M ATA Device. Any Idea how i can fix this? Would it be caused by some cable or cord loose inside? Also similarly at the same time, i notice there was another exclamation point in the device manager next to SCSI/RAID Host Controller, i have no idea what it is so if anyone could explain and give my some tips on how to fix these that would be great. thanks in advance!

Re: CD/DVD Drive Error.

You can try this but it sounds like a failed drive. Laptop optical drives are generally not very reliable and are prone to early failure.

Re: CD/DVD Drive Error.
