[SOLVED] Question regarding laptop connection with projector ??

I am trying to connect my laptop with my projector. My projector came with DVI port and a DVI cable. My laptop has inbuilt VGA connector for external monitor. So I am planning to buy regular VGA to DVI adapter for my laptop. Do you guys think it would work this way ??

Re: Question regarding laptop connection with projector ??

that should work fine, VGA to DVI connectors are very common, I use them all the time to hook up newer desktops to the ice age era monitors we have at my work, lol.

Re: Question regarding laptop connection with projector ??

well, VGA is an analog signal. DVI is digital, you will be loosing picture quality, but it should still look pretty decent.
