OS: Vista Ultimate Sp2

Gateway Laptop
Installed new HD on Gateway Laptop that origanally had Vista Home installed on it , now OS Will not load. Vista or Win XP.

what are you using to put windows on it? the gateway recovery disc or a windows install disc?
If your using a windows install disc, you will need to download the sata drivers from gateways website, and either put those on a floppy disc or slipstream them into the windows install. Better and less hassel to use the recovery discs. |
