Vertical stripes lcd Acer Aspire 9302

I have an Acer Aspire 9302 with vertical stripes on the lcd. I have switched the original Chi Mei lcd for a brand new Samsung, but the problem is the same.

When connected to an external monitor, the picture is perfect.

I have tried to fiddle with the cable connecting the lcd with the motherboard, but that makes no difference.

There is light in the lcd, so I guess the inverter is ok?

Suggestions to solve this problem are very welcome.

I had that problem before with Vista but it was occurring randomly. I just updated the driver and it was fixed. In your case, it could be the cable (try replacing it).
