DELL Inspiron 6000 screen problem
Hi I have a DELL Inspiron 6000 laptop close to 4 yrs old. Its running on Windows XP SP2.
For the last couple of days it has been showing strange problems. If the mains power goes off the screen goes blank immediately and even on getting back the AC power within 1-2 min the display doesnot come back. I checked the battery by pressing the battery check button . The battery is always fully charged but its gone bad ( all 5 lights shine up on sustained pressing of the switch of battery ) but should the backup be so bad that it cannot sustain screen for even 1-2 minutes ? I am really puzzled. As a result of this problem I have to per force restart my laptop every time power supply goes and this is causing lot of data corruption issues.. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!! Any more info wanted please let me know ... |
