HP TX1000; removing the zif from MOBO to audio jacks?
After coming away unscathed from an almost mishap taking out the zif connector that the keyboard to the motherboard. I am not going to take anymore risks. I am trying to fix my POS hp tx1000 using the heat resoder penny method (you know it's on youtube). Anyways...I'm at the part where I remove the audio jacks up front from the mobo. AND I have a zif that I don't know how to work and the dissasembly manual doesn't give me any help either.. So here it is a picture.. how do I remove it (i'm talking about the zif with the letters MB on the tape)...See it? Have you taken this one off before
, It seems different! Plus I am scared of it! The picture is the clearest picture I've ever taken...
