Boot to recovery partition?
I have a Gateway W340UI. I executed the recovery option to reload the factory configuration. The recovery process formatted the C drive and promptly blue screened when it started the Windows install. Is there anyway to force the system boot the recovery partition. I don't have any of the factory CDs.
I sent this into Gateway, not doubt in a couple weeks they will answer and offer to sell me a recovery DVD, just looking for something quicker. Thanks |

What is the bluescreen error?
Why was the recovery being performed? (possibly hardware related) If the recovery partition is unsuccessful then the other option would be to purchase the recovery cd.
