laptop wont turn on
Hi, hope someone can help with this. i have a laptop that wont turn on, the led on the power supply is flashing very dim. Lappy wont start up, no lights or sounds at all from the laptop apart from a small led under the case on the cd drive. Can only see this light when holding the mahine upside down.
the model is a HighGrade 8615. i think it is a re-branded toshiba model. |

Try removing the battery and see if laptop will power on with just AC adapter.
If possible test a known working AC adapter.

Try the following: unplug EVERYTHING from the laptop (battery, AC adapter, etc.), open the monitor, turn it upside-down (keyboard facing the floor), hold the power button for 30 seconds, plug everything back in and try it out.
