Acer Aspire 6930G volume problem.

http://i32.tinypic.com/2qan0ix.png

That bits touch sensitive and it has a function to turn volume up and down, but it thinks I constantly am touching the - volume button. Is there any way to stop this or disable the touch sensitive part all together?

Re: Acer Aspire 6930G volume problem.

I don't have this Acer model, but I'm guessing by the picture that your touch sensitive panel is based off the same technology that my 6920's is. If that's the case there should be a program called launch manager that you will need to uninstall then download and reinstall from the Acer support site. There's nothing wrong with the panel itself, the software that drives it is just buggy and sometimes it freaks out and causes issues like freezing the panel, repeating only one action on the panel (like only turning the volume down in your case), or confusing actions on the panel. If an uninstall and reinstall of the driver software doesn't work though, you can disable the panel by simply disabling the startup of launch manager or uninstalling it completely. Good luck! :)
