my laptop wont turn on
the battery light on the laptop flashes when its plugged in (it goes off right after i unplug it) when the chord is plugged in, the battery light on the chord is on and green, like it normally is. the power light comes on only when i hold down the power button, and the battery light on the laptop will stay constant while im holding down the button as well. but as soon as i let go of the button the battery light goes back to flashing and the power light goes off again. pleaseee help me, i really hope it has something to do with the battery and its not internal. if it is, if you know any cheap ways/cheapER ways to fix it, i'd love to hear them. and im not sure how old the computer is, its my husbands, but it runs pretty decently, its not too slow, especially since he has World of Warcraft installed on it, that even runs fine. im confused. plzzzz help. |

Re: My Sony laptop wont turn on!!
In addition to what Madcatz has said... I suggest you use a working/charged battery. Assuming you cannot test the ac adapter, just put the good battery in and power ON the laptop (make sure you DO NOT connect the ac adapter to do this test). If laptop powers up with no problems then you consider checking your ac adapter or the DC IN jack connection. However if laptop behaves the same using a working/charged battery then it could be a failing motherboard.
