cpu fan wont turn on
when I switch my note book on the fan wont come on. Iv'e pulled the fan out and checked to see if it works using 2 aa's and it worked. So would anyone have any idea what could be causing the fan not to come on.

Fan is being controlled by the motherboard. Usually it comes ON at power ON but stops immediately just waiting until temps get to a level where motherboard switches it ON again to cool things down.
