Screen Problem for HP Pavillion dv 5000
I was booting my computer totally fine just an hour ago, however, after i signed into my account and it was loading all the startup programs, the screen suddenly white out for no reason.
i pressed and hold the power button to shut it down, and after that when i press the power button, everything boots up but the screen shows nothing. i still can hear the hard drive spinning tho(when i put my ear near the touchpad). Oh, and when i press F11 or F12 when it boots up, it beeps. i tried connecting a external monitor to my computer but the external monitor flashes grey stripes vertically, with a white blackground. any ideas what went wrong? i suspect it is a video card problem but i'm not really that sure. |
