[SOLVED] Toshiba Wireless Switch Problem

Hello,

I have a Toshiba-Satellite A135-S4467. Today the light on the wireless switch on the front of the laptop went out and now my computer cannot connect to or to even detect wireless networks. This happened once a few months ago but it seemed to reset itself after I shut down the computer and restarted the computer. I've tried that three times now and no dice.

I've also recently been having adpater plug power issues if that means anything.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

How do I unseat the wireless card? I've never done this before. Are wireless driver updates available from Toshiba or do I have to go elsewhere? Thanks for your help!

Re: Toshiba Wireless Switch Problem

drivers are available from the toshiba support website. http://support.toshiba.com

the wireless card you can access by removing a small cover from the bottom of the laptop. Near the front will be two large covers with a small over inbetween them, remove the small one and underneath you will find the wireless adapter. just take out the two screws, it will flip up, just take it out and put it back in.
