drivers required?
i have dell inspiron 640m laptop it has a combo drive but i cant run DVDs may be i haven't downloaded the drivers required. please tell me how do i know what drivers are required by my laptop??

Are you able to start any CD??? why do you need drivers??? Did you install fresh operating system on laptop??? Do you need XP or Vista drivers??? Keep us posted... |

Does the problem occur with all DVD's or one particular DVD? Will it read/write CD's?
How old is the Laptop? Manufacturer's use low quality optical drives in laptops and their life span can be short.
