Dell Inspiron 1501 Wlan 1390 Minicard Driver Issue

Hello everyone,

I'm currently trying to install a driver for my WLan 1390 Minicard.
I've gone to the Dell site and downloaded R151519.exe and have tried installing the driver. It unzips fine, but when the set up program starts it installs up to 28% ok, and then jumps to 59% and then refuses to do anymore. Is there anything I can do that doesn't have me reformatting my laptop?

you could try going to the WLAN card manufacturers website and downloading thier basic driver, see if that installs fully.

also I would try and delete the temp folder that the dell driver is extracting everything into. Download the file again (in case it was a corrupted download), uinstall your WLAN card from device manager, and choose to delete driver files if it gives you that option. restart, then run the install program.
