my laptop keeps crashing when i watch videos or play the sims?

i have a gateway and its only 2 years old and it will just turn off when im playing the sims or watching dvds?

May be it's overheating. Install something like SpeedFan and observe how high the temp gets (when you are playing Sims or watching DVD) before laptop shuts off.

Download Speedfan and install the program.

After the program is installed open the program and let it run it will then give the

results of the temps.

Post the results back in this thread.
