Questions about this laptop

I'm buying a laptop in a few weeks and I have a few questions about the hardware

I understand most of it but I never figured out what kind of processor is the best.
I'm buying a HP Pavilion dv7-1451nr Entertainment Laptop and the processor it has is a AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM-82 Dual-Core Mobile Processor.

Now the question, Is this processor good or is it a piece of junk and I should go with a better one.

What I want to do with this laptop is basically carry it around for entertainment. Playing games like Wow and other retail games like that, other than that, he I'd just use it for social networking and internet.

Also, I think I already know this but if I upgraded the RAM to 8 gigs instead of 4, the operations would a whole hell of a lot faster right?
