Invalid System disk

I have an acer aspire 5315-2153 laptop. When I power on I get the Invalid system disk error, Replace disk and press any key. message. I can get into the setup menu. Is the hard drive bad?

check you have not left a disk in the cd drive or floppy

d/load and run the h/drive makers diagnostic utility on the h/drive

I found the diagnostic utility you are speaking of. I am not able to load it to my lap top, so I have to download it to my desktop pc. How can I open it to a cd to use on the laptop? Boy I am feeling really dumb here.

I have wasted 5 cd's attempting to burn an ISO file, Can someone please help me out here.

What tool are you using and please also verify where you downloaded it from?

use imgburn to burn the iso file
