Toshiba Touch Keys (Multimedia) not working
Hi all,
I have Toshiba Satellite A300-1MC. Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit. The problem is that my touch keys (Multimedia keys) are not completely working. The mute/Illumination on/off and Windows Media Player Launcher keys are not working. When pressed, they illuminate and then goes off but no function is performed. The other four touch keys (play/pause, stop, next, previous) works right when Windows media player is running already. When i got the laptop, the mute/illumination on/off key worked as turning the illumination on or off. but now it doesnt work. I have updated the bios as well from 1.7 to 1.9 today from toshiba's website. But it didnt solved the problem. From bios, however I am able to turn on or off the illumination. Any help in this regard will be very much appreciated. Thx. |
