toshiba m30 display problems...help plz
Hiya
im trying fix my mums laptop which i think i broke lol. it has a SD memory card slot and upon purchasing a new one i inserted it. it wouldnt read it so i kept trying etc. my mum got on it and did her email thing then got off. it went into hybernation and when i went to get on it the screen was blank. i restarted it and to no avail. nothing came up on the screen, not even the toshiba logo so i couldnt access bios or anything really. i tried fnct and all the f keys to try anything but nothing happened. i pushed one of the monitor buttons on the side and it changed the screen from horizontal to vertical and vice versa but still no picture. Im wondering if the SD card has anything to do with it as my dad is blaming me for that lol. I tried the remove battery and power and hold for 30 secs etc, that managed to bring up the toshiba screen. pushing f2 didnt do anything but if i pushed f12 that bought up the boot menu. i tried the hard drive but that didnt work, i then tried from cd, the disk drive spins as if its reading then jst stops. I dont have a external monitor to try the other ways suggested in other threads so i hope someone can help me out plz. much appreciated sordz |
