ok i had bluetooth and it worked fine. one day it stops working. so i ignore it. eventally i just decided to completely reinstall everything. windos and everything.
i now have vista 64 bit (what came with the laptop) its a gateway M-6866

bluetooth still doesnt work. there is a setting in the bios but it is greyd out. its like internal bluetooth power and its on or off. but its greyed out and i cannot find the bluetooth in device manager. i have applied all updates. anyone have ideas?
the wirless is intell 4965agn
abnd the bluetooth is Broadcom BCM92045nmd

Try with the drivers from here: http://support.gateway.com/support/d...param=1015670R

Start installing with the CHIPSET driver first.
