Question Urgent help

I am currently borrowing my girlfriends Acer aspire 3620 while she is overseas. Two days ago I was playing a data disc when the screen flashed off. The power button is still lit up aswell as the battery button. When I plugged the charger in it made a beep sound and it beeper again when I took it off the charge (thinking the battery must have died). Pressing the sleep, enter and power buttons dont do anything at all...

Any help is appreciated! Thanks

Re: Urgent help

With the adapter plugged in (using AC power), what happens if you power the laptop ON? Any signs of life? See anything on the screen?
