Programs running at start up
Dell inspiron 9300. how do i find out what programs are running when i start up my laptop. seems to take a long time from when i push the power button till i can sign on to IE.
its slow maybe to many things running and i can turn some off. will that help cut down on how log it takes to sign on or is it something i can fix------thanks |

XP - click start ~> click run ~> type "msconfig" (without quotation) then press enter
Vista - click start ~> in the start search type in "msconfig" (without quotation) then press enter In the System Configuration window click on start up tabs so you can see all the applications at start up... you can enable or disable any of the applications |
