Hey there,
I own a 3 year old Sony Vaio VGN-FJ270. It overheats and the fan makes extremely loud whirring noises as soon as it boots. I re-formatted the entire thing, assuming I had accumulated years worth of viruses. I've sworn to take better care of it...but turns out the fan, the heat, the noise predicament remains the same. I just purchased a Dust Off compressed gas duster from Best Buy today. My mission, and my question to anyone that can help me is this: Where do I apply the compressed gas duster? And I would like to go just beyond spraying from the outside vent slits...which is why I need some advice on how to open up with model and what exactly I should be looking to clean on the inside without damaging anything. I've never done this before, but I know I can with proper instructions. I've looked everywhere on the web, I can't find a thing for my laptop...I'm very disheartened. Picture + step by step would be excellent. Thanks for your help in advance.
