GPU overheating

Recently my laptop's gpu has been overheating quite frequent playing video games. I never had this problem before and I am wondering what I can do. So far I got speedfan and rivatuner but not sure how to use them. They only show me a temp and usually C87 is when it overheats.

My specs:

Microprocessor AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60
Microprocessor Cache 512 KB + 512 KB Level 2 cache
Memory 3072 MB (1 x 1024 MB + 1 x 2048 MB)
Memory Max Up to 4 GB (Up to 1 GB may not be available due to 32-bit operating system resource requirements)
Video Graphics NVIDIA GeForce 7150M
Video Memory Up to 1071 MB
Hard Drive 250 GB (5400 rpm)
Multimedia Drive Lightscribe Super Multi DVD Writer (+/-R +/-RW) with Double Layer support

Re: GPU overheating

May be you can try cleaning the vents/heatsink/fan areas first. Use a can of compressed air. Best if you know how to open up the laptop so you can clean the insides and/or reapply thermal compound.
